“Yaatu” pronounced yard-tu means soft in Walmajarri language

Instead of blocking your sweat glands, natural deodorant allows the body to release toxins naturally whilst keeping you fresh throughout the day.

This aluminium free deodorant is also free from bi-carb, synthetic fragrances and other toxic chemicals. Instead, it is made from organic, natural, vegan & cruelty free ingredients.

Available sizes: 50g biodegradable paste or 60g biodegradable push up roll-on.

Bamboo spatula sold separately - perfect tool for paste deodorant application.

INGREDIENTS: Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Euphorbia Cerifera Cera (Candelilla) Wax, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tapioca (Arrowroot) Flour, Zinc Oxide, Bentonite Clay, Vegetable Glycerine, Vitamin E, Lavandula augustifolia (Lavender), Canang odorata (Ylang Ylang), Citrus sinensis (Sweet Orange) and Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree).

IMPORTANT: If you’re a first time user of natural deodorant your body will undergo a detox process. During this process your body odour may increase as your body expels all of the toxins built up from synthetic deodorant (the increased odour is not due to the natural deodorant). This detox phase can last 2-4 weeks depending on the individual. To assist this process the Marta Detox Mask may help speed up the process. You must trust the process as once the detox is complete you will then reap the rewards of natural deodorant and all it’s beautifully scented glory - not to forget the skin health benefits.

How to dispose? Kraft: remove label and put in general waste, rinse internal compartment and bury in soil to decompose.

NOTE: Products are restocked on the 1st of every month - batches are hand formulated and produced solely by me which means limited quantities are available. This allows high quality control of each batch while allowing me time to create new products to sample and test between each restock.

By purchasing our products you recognize and accept the fact that some natural ingredients, essential oils in particular, may still cause sensitivity in susceptible individuals and that Kitikiti will not be held responsible for such occurrences. You as a customer accept FULL responsibility if continued use of or purchase of products without complete or extensive knowledge about product ingredients and/or functions. Kitikiti is not liable for any individual reaction to any particular ingredient. Remember to read the labels and ingredient lists carefully and follow the appropriate directions for use. If you have a specific allergy or sensitivity, do not use ingredients that may trigger a reaction. An allergy patch test is highly recommended if there is any doubt or history of skin reactions.

Kitikiti acknowledges the disadvantages to using sustainable packaging however I believe the pros out way the cons which is why Kitikiti strives to use the most eco-friendly packaging where possible as this aligns with the business morals and values.

These disadvantages include; packaging often becomes discoloured due to the oils in the products that start to 'sweat' - a common occurrence with any oil based product. Another factor to keep in mind is that materials are not always as strong as other packaging on the market (plastic). Paper can only be recycled six times before its fibres completely give way and lose functionality. Bioplastics (aka biodegradable packaging) can be degraded simply by prolonged exposure to air, which oxidizes.

Test Patch

To do an allergy patch test, simply apply a small amount of the product to a small area of your face that's easily covered—such as the underside of your jaw, a corner of your forehead, behind your ear or the side of your neck.

There should be no other products on the skin so that you can properly test this product. Wait around 48 hours to see if you have a reaction.

To see if a product makes you breakout, you should apply the product directly on a small part of your face, such as the cheek, chin or anywhere else that’s prone to blemishes.

Apply the product daily (or as recommended) to the same area for a week or so to determine whether your skin will react.

However, keep in mind that breakouts can be an intended reaction for some skin care products, especially acne medications, and anything that contains retinol and strong acids (including lactic, salicylic, and glycolic acids)
